The historic La Candelaria district takes visitors on a journey through time with its cobblestone streets, colonial-era architecture, and vibrant street art. The iconic Bolívar Square stands at the heart of the city, surrounded by landmarks like the neoclassical Capitolio Nacional and the imposing Cathedral Primada. As the cultural epicenter, Bogotá houses world-class museums such as the Gold Museum, showcasing an extraordinary collection of pre-Columbian gold artifacts, and the Botero Museum, home to an extensive array of Fernando Botero’s renowned sculptures and paintings.
