Day 1: Arrival in Catania & Transfer to Taormina
Arrive at Catania Airport and transfer to your hotel in the picturesque Taormina area. Taormina, perched on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna, serves as the perfect starting point for your Sicilian adventure. Spend the evening exploring the charming surroundings or relaxing at your hotel.

Day 2: Mount Etna & Taormina
Start your day with a visit to Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. Ascend by coach to 2,000 meters, where you can walk along the remnants of cooled lava flows from the 2002 eruption. For the more adventurous, an optional cable car and off-road vehicle ride can take you up to 2,900 meters (additional cost: approx. €78/person).
