Q: Is there Financial Aid available for Umrah 2024?
A: MUHSEN is currently at capacity for Financial Aid. Please contact [email protected] for more information
Q: When will I know if my application has been accepted?
A: You will be informed of your application status within two weeks of the application submission deadline (December 31, 2024).
Q: I received a message that I was Waitlisted for the trip – what does Waitlisted mean?
A: You are on a Waitlist for the trip. If any space opens up for the trip, the Waitlist will be informed prior to the general public. You will then have the opportunity to secure your spot for the trip.
Q: Is the non-refundable deposit really non-refundable?
A: The initial $500/person deposit to secure your spot for the trip is non-refundable. Emergency cancellation requests will be reviewed by our team to determine whether or not a refund is possible. This policy regarding the deposit is separate from Dar El Salam Travel’s Refund Policy for overall trip packages.
Q: What is the Dar El Salam Travel Refund Policy?
A: DST Refund Policy:
If you would like to cancel, please find below the cancelation policy for each duration.
(a) Cancellation after registration to 90 days prior to departure: $500/person cancellation fee (this $500 is the deposit you will have submitted to guarantee your spot on the trip).
(b) Cancellation 90 days prior to departure: $750/person cancellation fee.
(c) Cancellation 60 days prior to departure: $1,000/person cancellation fee.
(d) Cancellation 45 days prior to departure: Full package price is non-refundable.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, airfare purchases are nonrefundable and no part of such amounts shall be reimbursed to any traveler canceling a booking.
Any refund will be subject to the credit card fee 4% if paid by credit card.
All cancellation requests must be received by Dar El Salam Travel in writing.
