San Jose
San José is the capital of the country and the most populated area; its central location allows direct access to the most popular attractions.
In the city center you can take a tour and get to know some points of interest such
as the Plaza de la Cultura, the Gold Museum, the National Theater and walk along the Central Avenue, which is a pedestrian shopping area.
Arenal
La Fortuna is one of the most popular destinations in the country thanks to its offer of adventure, romance and relaxation. La Fortuna is a charming and quiet town from which you can appreciate the majestic Arenal Volcano. In the area there are thermal water spas to relax as well as various adventure activities.
Monteverde
The Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve near the town of Santa Elena, is an area where the biodiversity of the region and the water sources that supply several rivers in the country are protected.
In this area you can walk through the forest canopy through the hanging bridges, venture into a canopy and observe the diversity of flora and fauna that the area offers.

Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrival in San José
Upon arrival, meet your private transfer at the airport and head to your hotel in San José. Spend the evening relaxing after check-in.

Day 2: Poás Volcano & Coffee Tour
Today, start with an exploration of Poás Volcano National Park. Then, embark on an educational coffee tour to learn about the cultivation and processing of Costa Rica’s “golden bean.” This tour also includes visits to the Bonsai Garden, Hydroponic Garden, and Butterfly Garden. Continue to La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a lush paradise featuring beautiful cascades surrounded by the rainforest.

Day 3: Tortuguero Adventure
Depart early from your hotel for a journey through Guapiles for a typical breakfast, then continue to the docks to board motorboats that will take you to your lodge in Tortuguero. Enjoy a welcome cocktail, visit the turtle museum, the beach, and the charming village of Tortuguero.

Day 4: Tortuguero Canals & Arenal
Begin the day with an early morning boat tour through the Tortuguero canals, where you can witness the rich wildlife of the area. After breakfast, check out and continue your journey to the Arenal region. The Arenal Volcano area offers stunning rainforests, hot springs, and a majestic volcano as its focal point.

Day 5: Whitewater Rafting & Hot Springs
Experience the thrill of whitewater rafting on the Sarapiquí River, a perfect activity for beginners and families with class II and III rapids. After the adventure, enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch. Later, unwind in the relaxing hot springs at Ecotermales, surrounded by lush vegetation.

Day 6: Transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest
